Like an evil forest split by the laughter of sprites

The emptiness of space comes alive with light

Warm colors dance below cool shades above

Obsession

Thinner than air.

Heavier than stone.

Can't seem to help feeling bored and alone.

Folks all around.

Plenty to do.

But the only thing I'm truly interested in is you.

Measures

The Fight

It's far to early to say that I'm sure we can get past this morning

Feel so unstable I'm not sure I'm able to handle what's coming

I feel like I'm dreaming still looking for meaning behind all that's happened

Still if you're here it, at the least in spirit, should show me you can and...

There's nothing outside can make me run very fast from you

Thoughts

There is a monster that stretches and grows

During each moment that's spent alone

It's shadowy and can be quite difficult to see

And by the time it's noticed, it's too late to flee...

Hold your breath; Keep it in; Swallow your fear

Curl up tight; Hug your knees; The monster is near

Shut your eyes; Do not scream; Darkness so unkind

It's all just a dream; It's all in your mind...

Rhythmic footsteps fill the emptiness that's left

Where butterflies once fluttered inside of your chest

No hope remains for denial or sleep

Once the monster has awakened and stirs in the deep...
